When I first read The Little Prince， I can’t understand the mean of loveand never to think why should the little prince leave alone since he love hisrose so deeply。 For years， I reread the story and think about it。 The simpletrue was first love。 The little prince didn’t know how to love and It wasdifficult to make him understand the rose’s heart， so it may lead tomisunderstanding and hurts from time to time。 He leaved his planet because hecan not accept the rose and himself。
This is why the little prince don’t know he have to leave : at that time，he had no idea he was in it。 The little prince don’t understand the meaning oftame until he met the fox later。 Then he produced the endless yearning for theroses and realized his responsibility。
"Do you want to be domesticated?" Thoughts or reflections on reading Wuthering Heights
The book was written by Emily Bronte， it published in 1847。But at thattime， it seemed to hold little promise， selling very poorly and receiving only afew mixed reviews。 I found this in our school library， I chose this book becausethe title attracted me。 The book is structured around two parallel love stories，the first half of the novel centering on the love between Catherine andHeathcliff， while the less dramatic second half features the developing lovebetween young Catherine and Hareton。 In contrast to the first， the latter taleends happily， restoring peace and order to Wuthering Heights and ThrushcrossGrange。 In the story， the two houses， Wuthering Heights and Thrushcross Grange，represent opposing worlds and values。
I spent twenty days reading this book。 After reading this book， I felt forHeathcliff at first。 Heathcliff begins his life as a homeless orphan on thestreets of Liverpool， and then he tyrannized by Hindley Earnshaw。 But he bees avillain when he acquires power and returns to Wuthering Heights with money andthe trappings of a gentleman。 His malevolence proves so great and long—lasting。As he himself points out， his abuse of Isabella—his wife is purely sadistic， ashe amuses himself by seeing how much abuse she can take and still e cringingback for more。
Catherine represents wild nature， in both her high， lively spirits and heroccasional cruelty。 She loves Heathcliff so intensely that she claims they arethe same person。 However， her actions are driven in part by her socialambitions， which initially are awakened during her first stay at the Lintons，and which eventually pel her to marry Edgar。 Catherine is free—spirited，beautiful， spoiled， and often arrogant， she is given to fits of temper， and sheis torn between her both of the men who love her。 The location of her coffinsymbolizes the conflict that tears apart her short life。 She is buried in acorner of the Kirkyard。 In contrast to Catherine， Isabella Linton—Catherine’ssister—in—law represents culture and civilization， both in her refinement and inher weakness。 Ultimately， she ruins her life by falling in love with Heathcliff。He never returns her feelings and treats her as a meretool in his quest forrevenge on the Linton family。
Just as Isabella Linton serves as Catherine’s foil， Edgar Linton serves asHeathcliff’s。 Edgar grows into a tender， constant， but cowardly man。 He isalmost the ideal gentleman。 However， this full assortment of gentlemanlycharacteristics， along with his civilized virtues， proves useless in Edgar’sclashes with his foil。 He sees his wife obviously in love with another man butunable to do anything to rectify the situation。 Heathcliff， who gains power overhis wife， sister ， and daughter。
The whole story make people’s mood heavy。 Fortunately， the end ishappy。
